Caption:
This image depicts an anterior view of a male patient’s torso, highlighting the presence of a rupial type lesion, covered by a brown crusty surface, located on the suprapubic region of the abdominal wall. After performing a differential diagnostic evaluation, this rash proved to be due to a case of late secondary syphilis, caused by the bacterial spirochete, Treponema pallidum.
