This is a close view of a patient’s penis. The patient presented to a clinical setting with a single, pearly papule located on the penile shaft, characteristic of the viral infection, molluscum contagiosum. Note in this close view, that the papule was umbilicated, which means that it had a depressed center, which had been covered by a crusty scab.
