This image from January-February, 1975, depicted two vultures that had landed on the banks of the holy Ganges River at Buxar, in the Indian State of Bihar, located in Eastern India. The photograph was captured by a Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Bureau of State Services staff member during one of the smallpox immunization-related trips to that region of the world.
