Description:This image depicts the interior of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Library, located on the organization’s Roybal Campus, in the Atlanta, Georgia suburb of Decatur. In this particular view, you can see a number of Internet-accessible computers, which are available to Library visitors.

The CDC collections span the field of public health. Print and electronic resources cover such topics as disease prevention, epidemiology, infectious diseases, global health, chronic diseases, environmental health, injury prevention, and occupational safety and health. The main library is developing a small but growing Landmarks in Public Health collection that includes items of significance to the history of public health. The Pittsburgh library houses an extensive historic collection on mining and mining safety.
The main library in Atlanta and selected branch libraries are open to the public. To visit these libraries, follow the CDC visitor guidelines via the link below. The CDC collections and reference services are available to the general public for onsite use only.

The library, in collaboration with the CDC Office of the Chief Science Officer, publishes a weekly public health current literature alert. CDC Science Clips includes newly published CDC journal articles as well as other current articles of interest to CDC partners and the public health community.
