Description:This photograph was one of a series of images highlighting the Native American Diabetes Wellness Program’s Eagle Books Exhibit at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Public Health Library and Information Center (PHLIC). The exhibit was hosted during the summer and fall of 2013. This particular image depicted what was Case 3/Shelf 2 of the exhibit.

From left to right, the photograph depicted a paperback copy of "Knees Lifted High", by Georgia Perez, and translated to the Muscogee (Creek) language; a newspaper article from Today entitled, "Taking Control of the Medium – and the Message: Muscogee (Creek) Nation Translate Health Books and Videos to Appeal to Kids”, by Stephanie Woodard; a flyer for the Creek Council House Museum; a paperback copy of "Through the Eyes of the Eagle", by Georgia Perez, illustrated by Patrick Rolo and Lisa Fifield.
Also included, was a CD of the Eagle Book Series, books 3-4, including book templates and graphics; a number of flyers for "Coyote and the Turtle’s Dream" from New York ComicCon; a Commentary on Eagle Book’s entitled, "Influence on Children and Families"; a synopsis of "Coyote and the Turtle’s Dream"; a paperback copy of "Coyote and the Turtle’s Dream", by Terry Lofton, and illustrated by Patrick Rolo and Lisa Fifield; a Graphic Novel copy of "Coyote and the Turtle’s Dream"; a Graphic Novel copy of "Hummingbird's Squash", by Terry Lofton, and illustrated by Patrick Rolo and Lisa Fifield; a Graphic Novel copy of "The Cave Where Giants Sleep", by Terry Lofton, and illustrated by Patrick Rolo; a Graphic Novel copy of "The Trail of Bones", by Terry Lofton, and illustrated by Patrick Rolo.
