Caption:
This image depicts a man in an unknown location, who had assumed a crouching position, in order to emphasize the pendulous nature of his highly enlarged scrotum, which was due to a case of lymphatic filariasis, more commonly known as elephantiasis, caused by an invasive nematode worm of the superfamily Filarioidea. See PHIL 16539, for another view of this man’s pendulous, fluid filled scrotum.
