The penis depicted in this image exhibited swelling, which was diagnosed as a case of acute penile venereal edema. This was the same patient as the one pictured in PHIL 15862, however, 48-hours earlier. Of note, was the swelling, due to edema, in the area of the prepuce on the distal penile shaft. In this case, the cause of this condition was undisclosed.
