This is an anteroposterior (AP) chest x-ray of a 12-year-old male patient, who had been diagnosed with acute glomerulonephritis, cardiomegaly, i.e., and enlarged heart, and pulmonary edema. The cause of this cluster of ailments is unknown, however, given the fact that there is accompanying cardiac enlargement, as well as pulmonary edema, could mean that a cardiovascular problem might have been the underlying cause affecting all three systems simultaneously.
