This patient presented with nodular cutaneous lesions on both elbows, which were diagnosed as tuberous xanthomata, that resulted from the accumulation of cholesterol rich material in foam cells located in the tendons, and the skin. These lesions are associated with conditions involving lipid storage disorders, or lipidoses, as well as hyperlipidemias, or high levels of fats in the blood.
