Lined with cotton, this Petri dish contained a number of capsules and tablets of various colors, as well as a prefilled syringe, and a liquid filled glass ampule, representing various commercially manufactured narcotic preparations. Each of these medications, which are available to consumers by way of a physician’s prescription, has the potential of becoming addictive, and which therefore, demand careful control, as to their usage both by the patient, and doctor.
