Photographed in 1974, in a northern Indian, ancient religious site, was this relief carving depicting an image of Hanuman, the Monkey God, worshiped as a Hindu deity in this region. The image was captured during a trip made by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) personnel while on an expedition to capture monkeys native to the northern Indian region.
