From a left posterior-oblique perspective of a boy’s buttocks and right thigh, this Kozi, Yugoslavian patient exhibited symptoms of a cutaneous fungal infection known as favus, which had manifested as crusts, or scutulae on the skin. This cutaneous illness was caused by the dermatophytic fungal organism, Trichophyton schoenleinii.
