Under a magnification of 1200X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the dermatophytic fungus, Trichophyton schoenleinii. Of importance, was the configuration of the organism’s hyphae in the shape of a deer’s antlers known as favic chandeliers.
