This photograph depicted a frontal view of a Petri dish that contained a growth medium, upon which a colony of the dermatophytic fungus, Trichophyton rubrum var. granulare, strain A-349, had been cultured. Revealed, was the colonial morphology, which in this case exhibited a glabrous, though wrinkled, with a coloration that was predominantly white, surrounded by a thin, light-brown periphery.
