This photomicrograph of an hematoxylin and eosin (H&E)-stained unidentified tissue specimen, revealed the presence of a eumycotic mycetoma, and the histopathologic changes associated with this condition, which had been caused by the organism, Pseudallescheria boydii, formerly known as Allescheria boydii, an ascomycetous mold.
