This graph entitled, Rate of suicide among adults aged greater than or equal to 65 years, by age group and race/ethnicity – United States, 1990-1996, reveals that over this six year period, white/non-Hispanics attempted suicide at a far greater degree in all three age-groups, i.e., 65-74, 75-84, and =85, than either black/non-Hispanics, or Hispanics.
