Description: Caption:
This mother had presented to a Dekalb County, Georgia well-baby clinic with her infant, for the child’s scheduled examination, and to receive her requisite immunizations. The baby girl was in the process of receiving her immunization by way of an orally administered sugar cube, by a qualified healthcare practitioner. Well-baby clinics are public health, tax-supported medical facilities, which aid in childhood, as well as family health-related matters, usually at a reduced cost to visitors. They are most well known, for providing immunizations for childhood diseases including diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type-b, hepatitis-B, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
