This mother had presented to a Dekalb County, Georgia well-baby clinic with her infant, for a scheduled examination, and to receive the baby’s requisite immunizations. Well-baby clinics are public health, tax-supported medical facilities, which aid in childhood, as well as family health-related matters, usually at a reduced cost to visitors. They are most well known, for providing immunizations for childhood diseases including diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type-b, hepatitis-B, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
