The face of this young boy displayed a number of mucocutaneous, darkly crusted, leishmanial lesions located inside the nares, and on his left cheek, which had been diagnosed a mucocutaneous leishmaniasis, caused by an obligate intracellular protozoa of the genus, Leishmania.
