Description:This image depicts a dog dog-catcher standing at the back end of his county-supplied flatbed vehicle with the tailgate opened, and a captured dog of unknown breed lying down on the opened gate. The dog was on a leash held by the officer, who was petting the animal’s head.
This image was used in a text entitled “Dixon, Tiller County/U.S.A.: A Teaching Reference Community”, by Robert E Sanders, which was used to instruct readers in what is entailed in the implementation of appropriate public health infrastructure in newly-created communities.
