This image depicts a patient in Paraguay, who displayed a chronic ulcerative condition involving his bilateral nasal vestibules, with an accompanying erosion of his nasal septum, all due to a condition known as leishmaniasis. Note the erythema, and nodularity of the affected mucocutaneous tissues.
