Description:This image depicts three public health personnel, which included a Supervisory Sanitarian instructing two employees in the methodology associated with proper implementation of sanitary prodcedures in a community composed of varying socioeconomic groups.
With a well-rounded educational background anchored in the sanitary sciences including biology, chemistry, geology, physics, and math, a sanitarian performs analyses upon the environment from the perspective of a public health specialist, then implementing his/her understanding of how changes in environmental conditions can impact those living under the studied conditions, and how to put into place public health practices that will positively impact a poor public health situation.
