Description:This image depicts two items commonly found associated with the care and maintenance of an infant: a half-filled bottle of milk, which was lying on its side, and a pacifier.
Cleanliness always needs to be of paramount concern before offering these to an infant. Depending upon the type of material used in the manufacture of these items, how they are made sterile will be in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended standards. The contents of the bottle, which in this case was milk, also needs to be closely monitored for spoilage, and its temperature checked so as to avoid liquids that could cause a burn.
