This photomicrograph of a hematoxylin-eosin (H&E)-stained dermal skin tissue specimen, revealed some of the histopathology exhibited by an intradermal keloidal blastomycosis infection, which was caused by the fungus, Blastomyces dermatitidis. In this particular section, note the presence of a multinucleated giant cell in the lower right.
