Description:Depicted here, is a cavernous strawberry hemangioma, which is a benign tumor derived from the endothelial cells that line blood vessels.
Usually, they are self-limiting, manifesting during the first few weeks of life, and undergoing resolution by ten years of age. This one here developed on the surface on the skin, and took on the appearance of a “strawberry”, hence its name.
