This photomicrograph of a trichrome-stained unknown tissue specimen, revealed the presence of epithelial cells, which can be found throughout the body, lining cavities, blood vessels, and covering the body’s surface. Epithelial cells are also integral in the formation of many types of glands, including sweat glands, salivary glands, sebaceous glands to name a few.
