Description:This image depicts a rectangular-shaped red ceramic bowl that had been filled with some delicious-looking oatmeal, to which pieces of apple, and cranberries had been added. A silver spoon was resting on the far-right corner of the bowl, and in the background was a cold glass of apple juice.
Oatmeal is a complex carbohydrate-rich food, which is also a wonderful source of soluble dietary fiber. It's recommended that you get 14 grams of dietary fiber for every 1,000 calories that you consume each day. If you need 2,000 calories each day, you should try to include 28 grams of dietary fiber. Both cranberries and apples are also a great source of dietary fiber, as well as Vitamin C!
