The mother and son depicted in this image both lead challenging lives. However, their loving, supportive relationship provides strength to them both, enabling them to overcome obstacles, which might have been too much for either one alone. The son lives with an intellectual disability, and each day the mother confronts a debilitating arthritic condition, but neither one allows these conditions to impede their daily lives.
