The woman depicted in this image was shown in her kitchen, as she was in the process of preparing a healthy salad, which can be seen in the background, contained in a large glass bowl. At this point in the salad preparation, she was cutting a yellow bell pepper atop a clean white cutting board, the pieces of which would then be added to the salad mixture. Note the clean, orderly, uncluttered countertop, which is important to the maintenance of a tidy kitchen. It is very important to prepare foods in as clean an environment as possible, thereby, minimizing the introduction of foodborne contaminants into the food preparation process.
