This 1989 image depicts two healthcare workers, who were going door to door, conducting interviews in order to find out whether or not the appropriate polio vaccine had been administered to both the children, and adults of each visited household, thereby, preventing the residents from acquiring poliomyelitis. If not, the vaccine would then be administered to those unvaccinated household members.
