This image depicts a dish of Asian snow peas. The ingredients included snow peas, sesame oil, carrots, water chestnuts, low-sodium chicken broth, low-sodium soy sauce, and a touch of cornstarch. Snow peas, otherwise known as Chinese pea pods, and sugar snap peas, are more often found fresh, but many companies are now selling them frozen. These peas are eaten raw, or cooked, with the pod intact.
