From the “Illustrated Manual for the Recognition and Diagnosis of Certain Animal Diseases”, published in 1982, by the Mexico-United States Commission for the Prevention of Foot and Mouth Disease, captured during a bovine necropsy, this photograph reveals the presence of a lymphocytic infiltrate within the cortical region of this cut-section of one of the animal’s kidneys. This animal had been infected with African malignant catarrhal fever (MCF).
