A closer view of PHIL 12427, this photograph depicts the colonial morphology displayed by Gram-negative, Burkholderia thailandensis bacteria, which was grown on a medium of MacConkey agar, for a 24-hour time period, at a temperature of 42°C. Also, see both PHIL 12405 and 12406, for views of this bacterial species, grown on the same medium, but at a lesser temperature (37°C), and at twice the amount of time (48hr). Note that PHIL 12410 and 12411, depict the same bacterial species grown on the same media, and temperature (42°C), but a greater time period (48hr). Finally, take a look at PHIL 12419 and 12420, depicting colonial growth, on the same medium, and for the same amount of time (24hr), but at a lesser temperature (37°C).
