Driving a pick-up truck equipped with a Buffalo turbine blower, this historic 1962 image depicted two Rocky Mount, North Carolina men in the process of dispersing BHC dust, also known as Lindane, an agricultural insecticide, which in this instance, was being used to control the local population of Culex salinarius mosquitos, and filter flies, breeding in a nearby sludge pond.
