Bush to the Galveston, Texas, City Hall Emergency Operations Center, 3-days after the landfall of hurricane Ike. From left to right, standing alongside the former President, was Health Commissioner, David Lakey, of the Texas Department of State Health Services, and Steve Boedigheimer, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Senior Management Official. In this particular scene, the three men were discussing the emergency operations, which were underway after the natural disaster.
