Description:Magnified 128X, this photomicrograph depicted an egg from the parasitic nematode, Trichostrongylus.
The Trichostrongylus spp. parasite’s eggs are elongated, and range in size from 75-95µm x 40-50µm. The eggs resemble that of hookworms, but this species is larger, and its ends exhibit a more pointed shape.
