This historic 1954 photograph depicts what was a mass typhoid immunization program that was underway in Laredo, Texas. The local citizens were receiving typhoid vaccinations from Dr. M.L. Fuller, Director of the Laredo-Webb County Health Unit, and other employees during the disaster relief effort, following the Rio Grande flood of that year.
