This 1962 photograph depicted a close view of the skin of a 20-year-old male who was accidentally, heterogeneously inoculated with vaccinia, after having worn a jersey that had been worn by a newly vaccinated friend. This accidental inoculation took place on thirty-six points on his shoulders and face. See PHIL 10390 for another view of this patient.
