Description:This photomicrograph shows a conidiophore of the fungus, Curvularia geniculata.

Curvularia spp. can be dangerous, and are associated with various human infections such as onychomycosis, keratitis, sinusitis, mycetoma, pneumonia, endocarditis, cerebral abscess, and disseminated infection.
